An Emmy award-winning news anchor and producer, Lisa Mason’s last show on QVC was on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 and now she ended an incredible run that began in 1995. Some amusing clips from the past were revealed during the show and several people called in to wish her well. Lisa talked few things regarding a new project she was working on and told everybody about her website in the last part of the show. She tells QVC that she is leaving to do some writing on her new book, which will be released at some point in February, so it is her project for now. Just go to the website of Lisa Mason at LisaMason.org to know detailed description about her new projects, read full bio, see resume, refer blog, get contact info, etc.

On the last show, final goodbye message to fans was delivered by Mason. Formerly an interview was also tapped by Mason with Courtney Cason in advance for the broadcast of the last show. Now the 15 years have come to an end so there is no doubt that she will be missed by QVC and QVC’s viewers. Lisa plans to return to “her first love”, news broadcast arena so she will not be around us to tell about gino (Mason’s husband) anymore.

From the University of Central Oklahoma, Mason has received a B.A. in broadcasting. With KETA in Oklahoma City, Mason was host, news anchor and producer before QVC and she has received an EMMY Award for her documentary, Faces of AIDS which she researched, wrote and produced. Other roles of news are radio broadcasting for KNTL and anchoring KOKH-TV (FOX) in Oklahoma City.
