New Tata Nano Diesel coming to India with Mileage of 40 KMPL

New Tata Nano diesel will come with mileage of 40 KMPL in India in 2011. Tata Nano diesel will roll down 40 Kms in just one liter of diesel. The range of diesel engine will be 600-700 cc similar to the petrol version and it could be priced high in comparison to the recent variants. The expected price of the diesel Nano is between Rs 1.8 - 2.2 lakh. Tata Nano diesel will be the cheapest and smallest diesel car in the market. Tata Nano diesel features a sub-1000 cc engine but provides 20-30% enhanced output and performance.

World’s smallest turbo systems for Nano has been developed by Honeywell, while the smallest Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi) system will be fit by Bosch. AVL, FEV and Ricardo are other partners in the project. It is anticipated that this car will contain 0.75 Liter Engine with a maximum power output of about 30BHP. The car contains a two-cylinder, and healthy power is developed by 700cc engine devoid of compromising on fuel economy.

It is expected that Tata Nano diesel contains a fuel tank that has capacity of 15 liters and it will be the most fuel efficient car in its section. Tata Nano diesel is designed with the impressive fuel economy that is like the most bikes on Indian roads at the moment for two-wheeler consumers by Tata Motors. Tata Motors has made Nano diesel car that secretes very low tailpipe secretions. It is expected that the Nano Diesel will launch during the recent fiscal. Maruti Suzuki, biggest auto maker of India who’s USP has been excellent fuel economy, and Maruti Alto, which has been the biggest selling car in India, will compete with Tata Nano Diesel. The Nano Diesel will compete with upcoming small car from the Bajaj-Nissan-Renault that is expected to launch in year 2012 in the country. To attract purchasers, the company will come with various schemes such as easy interest, added safety features, four year warranty, and much more.
