68Yesterday the annual academy award ceremony, Oscar 2011 was set at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California for its 83rd edition. Many Hollywood celebrities hit the red carpet with their rocking appearance in high fashionable dresses among them co-host Anne Hathaway and presenter Mila Kunis drew attention of all. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) was presenter of the 83rd Oscar award ceremony. The merit of Academy Awards 2011 is presented by AMPAS in 24 competitive categories. The entire ceremony was hosted by Actors James Franco and Anne Hathaway and aired by ABC network in US. The honor of Oscar award for the best film of 2010 was gone to the highest twelve nominations received movie "The King's Speech."
The stars of the movie, television and music approached for the admired ceremony was viewed by millions of viewers of 200 countries. The Oscar night event is being most excellent event every year. The hundreds of photographers were ready at the entrance to catch the numerous celebrities invited for the grand ceremony. The numerous Hollywood celebrities paraded on the red carpet earlier than the awarding ceremony in various striking outfits most including luxury, glamour, and couture gowns.
To attract media attention and look different with their elegance and beauty, the celebrities wore outstanding and branded dresses, suits and jewelry. For that kind of grand event red, black and purple colors are hot favorite for celebrities.
Anne Hathaway:
Co-host of the Oscar 2011, Anne Hathaway appeared with a bright red dress on red carpet and seized the large attention of viewer. The lead star of the 'Rachel Getting Married', Anne changed her outfits at least eight times during the Oscar night. In first look at red carpet, she dressed up a strapless, floor length pillar box red Valentino gown. However, she quickly changed it and wore a white bustier Givenchy Haute Couture gown to begin the procedures of the official events. After that in three hours Anne changed various colored and styled outfit like silver tasseled, deep red, royal blue, lace and sequined.
Mila Kunis:
When Mila Kunis approached on the red carpet on Sunday, she caused quite attraction in lavender chiffon gown outfit. The "Black Swan" supporting star, Mila selected a very low-cut, lingerie-style gown with tiered lace detailing and groisgrain ribbon waist from Elie Saab's Haute Couture Spring 2011 Collection for the grand event. As well as she wore a Neil Lane jewelry including long fancy yellow radiant cut diamond (16 carats) earrings with white oval diamonds set in platinum and a radiant cut yellow diamond (42 carats) bracelet and completed her look with a Bottega Veneta clutch.
Natalie Portman:
The best actress award winner, Natalie Portman paraded on the carpet in a deep-purple off-the-shoulder billowy silk chiffon dress. Tiffany & Co.’s tassel earrings added beautiful look. She spotted on the red carpet with her fiancé Benjamin Millepied.
Gwyneth Paltrow:
On the red carpet, an American singer and actress Gwyneth Paltrow impressed the viewers with her sexy and striking appearance in silver gown. She chose a metallic, embroidered sheath gown in a slit-style V neck from Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa for this event.
Jennifer Lawrence:
The best actress nominee for her role in Winter's Bone, Jennifer Lawrence arrived on red carpet in a simple body-hugging and minimalist red dress from Calvin Klein collection. She wore Jimmy Choo shoes and held her Judith Leiber bag.
Sandra Bullock:
Sandra Bullock also chose the red color for the ceremony. She wore a sculptured, striking colored, strapless Vera Wang dress.
Scarlett Johansson:
In the Oscar ceremony, Scarlett Johansson wore Dolce and Gabbana’s designed magenta stretch-lace gown as well she adorned her hand with a beautiful delicate ring. She was appeared with Jeremy Renner.
Cate Blanchett:
Cate Blanchett dressed Givenchy brand’s pleated, pale-wisteria dress that was decorated with pearls, crystals covered in leather and with structured shoulders and contrasting yellow beading around the neck and back.
Halle Berry:
Halle Berry came into view on the red carpet in tulle Marchesa dress with her gown matching ultra-feminine diamond earrings.
Melissa Leo:
The best supporting role actress award winner, Melissa Leo appeared in a Marc Bouwer designed a delicate cream dress with a front long cut and gold and cream platform high heels sandal.
Hailee Steinfeld:
An Oscar award nominee for best co-star, 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld hit the red carpet in a Marchesa dress. She looked superb in her dress. Fred Leighton jewels, a Ferragamo clutch and shoes added dazzling look in her appearance.
Amy Adams:
The 36 year old best co-star nominee, Amy Adams attracted many viewers. She marched on the red carpet in a deep-blue gown with her $1.35 million (£800,000) Cartier bright green and diamond jewelry.
Helena Bonham Carter:
Helena Bonham Carter entered into the red carpet by putting hand in hand with her husband Tim Burton. She is always famous due to her unusual fashion style. For this event, she chose demure black dress.
